Dr Swaroop Kumar Vakkalanka

Dr. S.K. Vakkalanka is the Founder and Managing Director of Incozen Therapeutics, Hyderabad, a drug discovery and development R&D company. He is Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical sciences from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

He is a pharmaceutical professional with 23 years of experience in drug discovery and clinical development with proven track record of value and wealth creation through R&D. A successful track record in Innovation R&D and commercialization of Intellectual Property through Out-Licensing to global pharma. He has 45 International patents covering Oncology, Inflammation, Diabetes therapeutic areas. He has many publications and presented extensively in several National and International Journals and Conferences. He is also a recognized Ph.D. supervisor by BITS, PILANI and JNTU, Hyderabad and guided two Ph.D. students and 15 M.Pharm students in their research work.

He is a member of American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET), American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA).
