Dr Prasanth Ganesan

Dr. Prasanth Ganesan is the additional professor, medical oncology at Jawaharlal institute postgraduate medical education & research, Puducherry (JIPMER).

He has Enrolled over 200 patients in various clinical trials (academic as well as industry sponsored) as primary or co-investigator. Have served as member secretary as well member in various research and ethical committees. He had been awarded the best DM student in medical oncology AIIMS, New Delhi in 2010. He received the IACA travel fellowship for BMT training at the MDACC in 2011 and received best abstract at the Bridging the Gap hematology meeting at Singapore 2010. He had presented papers as well as delivered lectures as invited faculty in various national and international meetings.

Dr. Prasanth Ganesan has completed his fellowship from MDACC, Houston in 2013 in Investigational Cancer Therapeutics and DM, Medical Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2010. Previously he worked as an associate professor in Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai from 2014-2018. His Research interests are in Lymphomas, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, Supportive therapy in cancer and Cancer in adolescents and young adults.
