A Medical Pharmacologist by qualification with an experience of more than 15 years in medical affairs, clinical research and academics.
Currently working as head medical affairs at Biocon Ltd. Bangalore. Has served academia and industry in various capacities including head medical affairs and medical education at Novo Nordisk India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, and General Manager Centre of Excellence, Oncology GSK, Mumbai and as Faculty at medical colleges. She has done Diploma in Diabetes Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research and residency in Oncology at Batra Hospital, Delhi,

Has been invited faculty at CIM, Havana. She has been instrumental in various public affairs activities like Access Summits and State Round Table Meetings in collaboration with state Governments. She has been speaker in more than 300 educational programs for physicians in field of Diabetes, Oncology and Biosimilars. She has been an Editorial Board Member for Journal of Social Health and Diabetes (JoSH). She has contributed as an author in hand book of Oncology and CDiC textbook of Pediatric Endocrinology and has more than 15 national and international publications to her credit.
