Dr. Anurag Mehta

Dr. Col (Retired) Anurag Mehta is a Director in the Department of Laboratory & Transfusion Services and Director Research. He did MD (Pathology) at AFMC, Pune University, Post-Doctoral Training in Oncopathology from Tata Memorial Hospital, and WHO fellowship in Lymph Node Pathology from MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston,Texas, USA. He is an editor in chief of Journal of current oncology, which aims to highlight the advances in Cancer Biology and management.

He is senior surgical pathologist with >30 years of experience and specialized in molecular diagnostics and oncopathology (lymph node, pulmonary, and colorectal). He is instrumental in establishing a world-class Biorepository at Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center to meet the needs of the scientific community focused on cancer and allied research.
